PBAT71 cell sensor is a highly integrated intelligent sensor module, which can be used to monitor valve-regulated sealed lead-acid batteries and nickel-cadmium batteries. It can quickly and accurately measure the parameters like voltage, resistance and negative-pole temperature of the battery cells online. As PBAT71 cell sensor is powered by communication cable, so there is not power consumption from the battery cells, this can ensure the reliable operation of the battery cells. The module uses an isolated RS485 bus for communication, has excellent anti-interference performance, and multiple sensors can be cascaded very conveniently, and supports easy and fast hardware networking communication, it’s easy to realize online real-time monitoring of the entire battery string. The module equips with electrolyte leakage measurement function, which can perform online leakage monitoring on the battery pole or gas vent, when there is leakage, it can promptly alert and locate the leakage point. The module also equips liquid level measurement function for flooded battery, when the liquid level of the flooded battery is lower than the normal range, then it will alarm in time.
